Develop Socio-legal research skills
Conduct research, both collectively and through their individual members, and provide a forum for inter-disciplinary discussion on the structure and methods of legal skills research and training and the wider context of professional legal education Conduct seminars and round-table discussions on conflict of customary laws and development M.Phil./PhD research guidance and training.

Fellowships programme

The Faculty will benefit from an extensive Fellowship Programme (see below) which will bring experienced teachers and experts in various fields to GIALS. There will be a firm acknowledgement of multi-disciplinary approaches and social implications in the consideration of legal programmes and in teaching policy.
